Manage all Contracts, Legal and Commercial aspects of Solar Project with Client, in liaison with the Project Director / Manager.Good Drafting & Negotiation Skills, Claim settlement with Client & Sub-contractors.Should be Well verse in contracting strategies, contract management of Solar projects.Should have market intelligence on local rates, costing analysis for all kinds of civil works / structure fabrication & erection, E&I works etc.,Handling of sourcing, evaluation and qualification of SubcontractorsHaving knowledge of law of contracts & Arbitration & Conciliation Act.Thorough knowledge of contract laws, risk analysis, cost estimation, estimation of claims / variances etc.,Report and forecast Subcontract cost overruns and subcontract request for Extension of Time (claims, change order, variation request, and quantity increase)Anticipate, report with mitigation measures to Project Management team on major contractual and commercial risks, Contractor or subcontractor milestones / deliverablesHandling all Contractual matters / issues with Subcontractors and Client as per project needsClosely work with the project team members in the identification, negotiation and resolution of claims with Client and SubcontractorsEnsure strict compliance to Subcontract contractual termsPrepare all Contractual and Commercial correspondenceHandling Variation Orders & Dispute resolution with Client & SubcontractorsDesired Candidate Profile
- Should have minimum of 10 years in the current role / team as Contracts Manager / Team leader.
- Well experienced in complex negotiations and handling of enquiries regarding contract obligations and revisions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong Negotiation Skills / Cost Control
- Good interpersonal skills for coordinating with various departments / disciplines of the project site
