Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Specialist to join our team.

About the Role :

This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional with expertise in SAP data migration, ETL solutions, and integration technologies.

You will work closely with stakeholders to design and implement data migration strategies, leveraging your knowledge of SAP Rapid DataMarts and its design principles.

Main Responsibilities :

Analyzing data migration requirements and legacy data

Performing performance tuning activities and providing out-of-the-box design solutions

Designing data migration solutions, including transformation routines using SAP BODS

Building, testing, executing, and managing data migrations using SAP LSMW or SAP Data Services

Validating migration results, handling dropouts, and advising on data cleansing requirements

Conducting migration dress rehearsals, cutover tasks, and post-go-live support

Providing advisory services to the business on data management issues and strategies

Requirements :

Extensive experience in data management and migration activities in a SAP environment

Strong experience in designing and implementing SAP's ETL solutions, such as SAP Data Services and SAP LSMW

Experience with integration technologies like IDOCs and BAPIs

Ability to analyze and reconcile data, proving correctness and completeness of migration tasks

Cutover planning and preparation of data migration runbooks

Excellent consulting skills with business-facing capability
