Lead Business Analyst (Business Intelligence & R Shiny Developer)

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated

Lead Business Analyst

with strong expertise in Business Intelligence and R Shiny development to join our analytics team. In this leadership role, you will

own and drive the strategic development

of our in-house merchandising Shiny dashboard, expanding its functionality to deliver automation, advanced analytics, and actionable insights for our merchant teams. You will lead initiatives that enhance data-driven decision-making across the organization, while also mentoring junior analysts and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who can balance hands-on technical development with business analysis, strategy, and team leadership.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead the design, enhancement, and long-term roadmap of our in-house Shiny dashboard (R-based), ensuring scalability, reliability, and high user adoption.

Partner with business leaders, merchants, and sales teams to

translate business needs into BI solutions

and drive measurable impact.

Build and optimize SQL data pipelines to enable reliable reporting and analytics.

Develop new features and automation tools that streamline merchant processes and unlock efficiency.

Act as a subject-matter expert for BI tools and processes, guiding best practices in analytics, data visualization, and automation.

Mentor and support junior analysts on technical and analytical skills.

Collaborate with IT, data engineering, and other departments to ensure alignment and integration across systems.

Qualifications : Technical Skills :

Proficiency in SQL, R, and Shiny is required. Experience with workflow orchestration (e.g., Apache Airflow) is a strong plus.

Education :

Degree in Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical / business field.

Experience :

4+ years of experience in BI / analytics, including at least 3 years in R Shiny development. Prior experience leading projects or teams is highly preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and business analysis skills with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives.

Excellent communication skills, with proven experience presenting to leadership and influencing decisions.

Self-starter with a track record of driving initiatives from concept to delivery.
