Experience : Minimum 5 Years in Real Estate / Construction Industry

Qualification : B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Role Overview :

The Sr. Billing Engineer will be responsible for managing all billing, quantity surveying, and cost control activities for real estate projects. The role involves preparation, verification, and certification of bills, reconciliation of materials, monitoring budgets, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting for effective project cost management.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare, verify, and certify contractor and vendor bills.

Prepare client bills and coordinate for timely certification and approvals.

Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings and executed site work.

Prepare BOQs, rate analysis, and detailed cost estimates.

Monitor and track project budgets, cash flows, and cost-to-completion reports.

Perform material, labor, and subcontractor reconciliation on a regular basis.

Verify subcontractor claims, resolve discrepancies, and finalize accounts.

Maintain billing registers, measurement books, and project documentation.

Coordinate with site teams, planning, contracts, and accounts departments for smooth billing processes.

Assist in tendering, contract drafting, and preparation of comparative statements.

Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, statutory requirements, and RERA guidelines.

Prepare MIS reports and cost control reports for management review.

Support management in financial forecasting and decision-making related to project costs.

Required Skills & Competencies :

Strong knowledge of billing, contracts, and quantity surveying in real estate projects.

Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and billing / ERP software.

Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Strong documentation and reporting skills.

Knowledge of RERA compliance and construction industry standards.
