We are seeking dedicated Theatre Orderlies to join the surgical team in Rockhampton. This role is vital in supporting the safe and effective delivery of perioperative services.

Location : Rockhampton, QLD

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transfer, position, and move patients before, during, and after procedures
• Prepare operating theatres with equipment, furniture, and supplies
• Transport patients, equipment, and specimens across hospital areas
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control standards within theatres
• Assist staff with instruments, equipment, and emergency preparation
• Dispose of clinical waste and manage linen according to protocols
• Support restocking and equipment checks

What We’re Looking For

• Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (or equivalent)
• Team player with strong communication skills
• Physically fit and confident with manual handling tasks
• Attention to detail with focus on safety and infection control
• Previous hospital orderly or theatre experience desirable
