Role Title : Presales Consultant (ERP)

Reports to : VP – Sales & Marketing

Key responsibilities

Client engagement and requirement gathering : Work with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, analyze their needs, and map them to ERP / CRM solutions.

Solution design and demonstration : Develop tailored solutions and design architectures, then prepare and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) scenarios.

Proposal and documentation development : Create high-quality pre-sales documentation, including solution overviews, business case presentations, and response to RFPs / RFIs.

Sales cycle support : Collaborate closely with sales teams to support them throughout the sales cycle, from initial needs analysis to crafting proposals and statements of work.

Cross-functional collaboration : Work with internal teams like solution architects, product management, and marketing to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs and company offerings.

Continuous learning : Stay updated on the latest ERP solutions, industry trends, and new technologies to provide expert guidance.

Required skills and qualifications

Technical knowledge : Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), business processes, and technical concepts. Experience with CRM and other relevant technologies is often required.

Sales and business acumen : Ability to understand client pain points, communicate the value proposition of ERP solutions, and contribute to sales targets.

Communication : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, client-friendly language.

Presentation skills : Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.

Problem-solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions to client challenges.

Project management : Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Education : A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field like Business, Computer Science, or IT is often preferred.
