Vertex Programmer Developer

About Position :

We are seeking for Vertex Programmer Dev with hands on experience in Mainframes Microfocus COBOL, CICS, JCL, VSAM.

What You'll Do :

6-8 years of experience in COBOL development using Microfocus Net Express 5.1

Experience of working on COBOL, CICS, JCL and VSAM in IBM MVS environment

Experience in CICS environments, CICS tables and using BMS

Experience in z / OS connect and consuming rest APIs from COBOL

Exposure or knowledge in other technologies such as VB.Net, Python automation using Selenium. Or should be ready to learn it quickly

Experience in handling the JSON format file

Hands on experience with JIRA, Confluence and GitHub

Experience on Fujitsu NetCOBOL is good to have

Should have strong analytical and design skills

Should be eager to dig into the product / application and gain functional knowledge

Eagerness to learn new concepts and implement them proactively

Should have worked in agile projects and should have a good understanding of the scrum and SAFe frameworks etc.

Guide team members technically and functionally

Prepare test cases, execute the same and prepare test plan

Reviewing and testing the software and highlight problem areas

Identifying quality issues and creating test reports

Should be able to suggest best technical approach for a given requirement

Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment

Expertise You'll Bring :
