The HVAC Project Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of HVAC projects. This role involves coordinating with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, project management, and excellent problem-solving skills

Project Management :

oPlan, manage, and oversee HVAC projects from conception through completion.

oDevelop detailed project schedules, work plans, and budgets.

oCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders.

oEnsure projects meet industry standards and comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Design and Engineering :

oPerform load calculations, equipment selection, and ductwork design.

oDevelop and review HVAC system designs, blueprints, and specifications.

oUtilize design software such as AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and HVAC-specific tools.

oEnsure designs are efficient, sustainable, and meet client requirements.

Implementation and Oversight :

oSupervise installation, commissioning, and testing of HVAC systems.

oConduct site inspections and ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.

oAddress and resolve any issues or discrepancies that arise during construction.

Documentation and Reporting :

oPrepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and meeting minutes.

oTrack project milestones, budget, and resources, and report on project status to senior management.

oEnsure all project documentation is accurate and up-to-date.

Client and Team Coordination :

oServe as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project.

oFacilitate communication and collaboration between project team members.

oProvide technical support and guidance to clients and project team members.

Compliance and Safety :

oEnsure all HVAC installations comply with relevant codes and standards (ASHRAE, LEED, local codes).

oPromote and adhere to safety protocols on all project sites.

oConduct safety audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
