We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Coder - IVR Coder to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of our medical coding processes and requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and coding guidelines.

Responsibilities

Review and analyze medical records to extract and assign appropriate codes for diagnoses and procedures.
Ensure accurate coding for IVR (Interactive Voice Response) systems and related medical services.
Maintain compliance with coding guidelines and regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify information and resolve discrepancies in documentation.
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on coding practices and regulations.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Medical Coding, or related field.

Certification in medical coding CCS is preferred.

Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.

Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Attention to detail and ability to work independently under tight deadlines.

Excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare professionals and staff.
