• Needs Analysis & Scoping : Skillfully interviewing clients to determine their functional requirements, user experience goals, and technical needs.
• System Functionality & Flow Diagrams : Creating logical diagrams that illustrate how different AV components will interact and how signals will travel through the system.
• Acoustic & Environmental Analysis : Understanding and applying principles of acoustics, lighting, and sightlines to ensure optimal system performance within a specific space.
• Technical Documentation : Proficiency in creating detailed design documents, including architectural drawings, elevation diagrams, and schematic wiring diagrams using software like AutoCAD , Revit , or Vector works .
• Product Knowledge : Maintaining an in-depth, up-to-date knowledge of a wide range of AV equipment from various manufacturers, including their capabilities and limitations.
• Network & IT Integration : Designing AV systems that can be securely and reliably integrated into an organization's existing IT network infrastructure (AV over IP).
