Job Description :
- Procurement Strategy Development : Develop and implement procurement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and cost-effective purchasing of medical supplies and equipment. Conduct market research to identify quality suppliers and negotiate favorable terms.
- Supplier Management : Establish and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, delivery timelines, and pricing. Resolve vendor-related issues to maintain an uninterrupted supply chain.
- Inventory and Supply Management : Collaborate with inventory managers to monitor stock levels and forecast procurement needs. Ensure timely replenishment of critical medical supplies to avoid shortages.
- Budget Management : Prepare and manage the procurement budget. Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance : Ensure all purchased products comply with hospital standards, regulatory requirements, and certifications. Oversee quality inspections and returns for defective items.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with clinical departments to understand their requirements and provide necessary resources. Coordinate with finance for timely vendor payments and documentation.
- Data Management and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier agreements. Generate reports on purchasing activities, cost analysis, and savings.
