Main Purpose of the Role :
To drive sales performance and business growth within the assigned territory by identifying new business opportunities, managing channel partners, and ensuring achievement of sales targets.
The Area Sales Manager will also conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess market potential, competitor activities, and customer needs, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities :
- Achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets across the assigned area.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies and business development plans to expand market presence.
- Conduct market research and feasibility studies to analyze the viability of new business opportunities, partnerships, and product lines.
- Identify and develop new dealers, distributors, and business partners to enhance market penetration.
- Collect, verify, and analyze financial, competitive, and market data to support regional sales decisions.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing trends, and market dynamics, providing timely feedback to senior management.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for management review and client meetings.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth business operations.
- Maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and business continuity.
- Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to enhance productivity and achieve performance goals.
