Job Title : Academic Mentor

Location : Hybrid

Department : Academics / Mentoring

Reports to : Academic Co-ordination Manager / Manager

Requirements :

  • A Laptop with 8GB RAM & a Good Wi-Fi connection.
  • Noise-free environment

Job Overview :

We are seeking dedicated Academic Mentors to support students in their learning journey, especially in Science and Mathematics for Grades 9–10. The role involves helping students bridge learning gaps, guiding them through structured solution methods, engaging with parents, and fostering academic confidence. Mentors will also track student progress, provide motivation, and ensure a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Student Support & Pedagogy
  • Teach and guide students in Science / Math (Grades 7–10), focusing on concept clarity and problem-solving.
  • Identify and address student learning gaps using structured approaches.
  • Create engaging learning experiences to keep students motivated.
  • Share regular feedback and progress updates with parents.
  • Understand student challenges and suggest improvements to make tuition more effective.

    • Mentorship & Guidance

  • Act as a motivator, role model, and guide for students.
  • Provide tips on time management and effective study habits.
  • Encourage independent learning and critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate empathy and patience while handling student concerns.

    • Analytical & Reporting

  • Track student performance and suggest improvement strategies.
  • Use academic metrics to measure engagement and progress.
  • Share insights with the team to improve overall academic outcomes.

    • Key Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Science, Mathematics, Education, or related field.
  • Prior teaching / tutoring / mentoring experience (Grades 7,8,9–10 preferred).
  • Strong pedagogical knowledge and ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to engage both students and parents.
