About the Role :

We are looking for a Data Engineer in a Manufacturing Domain with proven experience in building, managing, and optimizing scalable data pipelines on AWS. This role is centered on implementing a structured Medallion Architecture approach and integrating manufacturing data sourced from enterprise ERP platforms. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and readiness for analytical and reporting use cases across the organization.

Key Skills :

- AWS Glue : Designing and orchestrating ETL workflows, managing jobs, and handling data transformations at scale

- Amazon EMR : Processing large datasets using distributed compute frameworks to support complex transformations

- Medallion Architecture : Structuring data pipelines across Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers for raw, refined, and curated datasets

- ERP Systems : Integrating and handling manufacturing data from Oracle ERP, SAP ERP, or JD Edwards

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, deploy, and maintain robust data pipelines using AWS Glue and EMR to process manufacturing data

- Implement Medallion Architecture by organizing raw ingestion, refined transformations, and business-ready datasets across layers

- Ingest data from Oracle ERP, SAP ERP, or JD Edwards, ensuring accurate extraction and alignment with business processes

- Perform data transformation and curation to standardize manufacturing data for downstream analytics

- Apply data quality checks, validation rules, and error-handling mechanisms to ensure data reliability

- Monitor and optimize pipelines to improve performance, scalability, and operational stability

- Ensure timely availability of analytics-ready datasets for reporting and business consumption

Requirements & Qualifications :

- 4 - 7 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, with a focus on AWS-based data platforms

- Strong practical experience working with AWS Glue and Amazon EMR in production environments

- Experience integrating data from enterprise ERP systems such as Oracle ERP, SAP ERP, or JD Edwards

- Proven experience implementing Medallion Architecture for structured data processing

- Exposure to manufacturing domain data, including operational and transactional datasets, is preferred
