We are seeking an experienced
Pre-Sales Engineer
to support technical sales efforts for cloud-based data protection and backup solutions. You will be working closely with sales and partner teams to help position the value of our SaaS offerings, conduct product demonstrations and support solution design through the scales cycle.
Key Responsibilities :
Partner with sales and account managers to
qualify technical requirements
and guide prospects through solution alignment and fit.
Deliver compelling product demonstrations
and effectively manage Proof-of-Concept (POC) engagements to showcase product value.
Lead technical discovery sessions
to assess customer environments and recommend tailored cloud backup and data protection solutions.
Assist in the preparation of
RFPs, proposals, and responses to technical inquiries , ensuring accuracy and strategic alignment.
Act as the voice of the field by providing
insightful feedback to product, engineering, and sales teams
to drive product improvements and market alignment.
Stay current on product updates , emerging technologies, competitive offerings, and industry trends related to
cloud backup, disaster recovery, and SaaS data security .
Skills & Expertise : A degree in
Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics , or a closely related field.
3–5+ years of proven experience
in a
Pre-Sales Engineering ,
Solutions Consulting , or
Technical Sales
capacity.
Solid understanding of
backup and recovery ,
endpoint security , and
ransomware mitigation
across modern IT environments.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
translate complex technical solutions into clear business value .
Background in
channel-focused environments , with experience engaging
resellers, distributors, or systems integrators .
Exposure to leading data protection platforms like
Veeam, Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault, Acronis , or similar technologies is a strong advantage.
