Dalmia Cement - Plant Corporate Affairs Head

1) To lead and manage corporate affairs, land acquisition, community relations, and regulatory compliance at the plant level. The role ensures smooth liaison with government authorities, statutory bodies, and local stakeholders while upholding the company's reputation and maintaining strong community and government relations.

2) Government & Regulatory Liaison- Build and maintain relationships with local, state, and central government authorities.

3) Ensure timely approvals, clearances, and compliance with applicable laws / regulations. Represent the company in meetings with government departments, industrial associations, and regulatory bodies.

4) Land & Legal Affairs- Handle land acquisition, lease renewals, and related documentation. Manage legal matters related to land, environment, mining, and plant operations.

5) Coordinate with legal teams for dispute resolution, arbitration, and litigation.

6) Community & CSR Engagement- Drive Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives aligned with local community needs.

7) Act as the primary liaison between the company and local communities to maintain positive relations.

8) Address and resolve community grievances effectively. Stakeholder & Reputation Management- Maintain strong relationships with political leaders, industry associations, NGOs, and other stakeholders.

9) Safeguard company reputation by proactive engagement and transparent communication.

10) Support crisis management and issue resolution at the plant level. Internal Coordination & Strategy- Work closely with plant leadership, operations, HR, and

Qualifications & Experience :

• Graduate / Postgraduate in Law, Public Administration, Political Science, or related field.
• 12-20 years of experience in corporate affairs, liaison, or public relations, preferably in manufacturing, cement, steel, mining, or heavy industries.
• Strong understanding of land laws, industrial regulations, and local governance structures.
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and government liaison.

Key Skills & Competencies :

Excellent networking and relationship-building skills. Strong negotiation, persuasion, and problem-solving ability.

Sound knowledge of regulatory, statutory, and legal frameworks. High integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards.

Ability to handle crises and sensitive issues diplomatically. Strong communication skills (local language, Hindi, and English preferred).
