As an Organic Chemist - Industrial Postdoc at altM, the candidate will be responsible for designing, synthesizing, and characterizing organic compounds for various applications. Primary functions will include conducting laboratory experiments, analyzing data, and interpreting results to drive innovation and advance research goals.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute organic synthesis routes to target compounds.
• Perform purification and characterization of organic molecules using analytical techniques such as NMR, HPLC, GC-MS, and IR spectroscopy.
• Analyze and interpret experimental data to troubleshoot reactions and optimize synthetic routes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and address project challenges.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, results, and observations.
• Stay current with literature and technological advancements in organic chemistry to contribute to the development of novel methodologies and technologies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory environment.
