Title : ORMB Developer

Employment Type : Full-Time, Permanent

Relevant Experience : 58 Years

Notice Period : Immediate to 45 Days

Role Overview :

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) Developer to design, configure, customize, and maintain ORMB solutions that optimize complex billing and revenue management processes. The role will involve hands-on development, enhancements, performance tuning, and integrations with other enterprise systems. You will work closely with functional consultants, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver scalable, high-performance billing solutions in line with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities :

ORMB Development & Customization :

  • Configure core ORMB modules including Customer Management, Billing, Payments, and Adjustments.
  • Develop and enhance Java-based algorithms, plug-ins, and batch processes within ORMB.
  • Implement Pricing, Rating, and Billing rules based on business requirements.

Technical Design & Implementation :

  • Create Technical Design Documents (TDD), impact analysis, and data mapping documents.
  • Perform data model customization, schema updates, and integration setups.

    • Integration & Interfaces :

  • Develop web services, APIs, and batch interfaces for data exchange with external systems (ERP, CRM, Payment Gateways).
  • Work with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF) for seamless integration.

    • Performance Optimization :

  • Tune SQL queries, batch jobs, and ORMB processes for high-volume transaction environments.

    • Testing & Deployment :

  • Conduct unit, integration, and regression testing for custom components.
  • Support UAT, production migration, and post-go-live stabilization.

    • Support & Maintenance :

  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with root cause analysis.
  • Apply patches, upgrades, and security fixes while ensuring minimal downtime.

    • Required Skills & Experience :

    Technical Expertise :

  • 58 years of experience in ORMB development and customization.
  • Strong command over Java, Groovy, PL / SQL, and XML within the ORMB framework.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Utilities Application Framework (OUAF).
  • Proficient in ORMB Batch Framework and Algorithm Development.

    • Database Skills :

  • Expertise in Oracle Database 12c / 19c, SQL tuning, and data modeling.

    • Integration Skills :

  • Experience in SOAP / REST APIs, JMS messaging, and web service development.

    • Domain Knowledge :

  • Strong understanding of revenue management, invoicing, and payment processes in telecom, banking, or utilities.

    • Tools & Methodologies :

  • Experience with Git, SVN, Jenkins, and JIRA.
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

    • Good-to-Have Skills :

  • Knowledge of Cloud-native deployments for ORMB on OCI / AWS / Azure.
  • Experience in CI / CD pipeline integration for ORMB projects.
  • Certification in Oracle Utilities or ORMB modules.
