Senior Design Manager (Tourism)

Job Description

We are looking for Architects and Urban Designers with a keen interest in tourism related projects. Experience in government advisory assignments is mandatory. Exposure to tourism and public-use projects such as convention centers, museums, parks, and cultural buildings is preferred.

Candidate will be required to carry out site visits to selected tourist destinations, understand the context and strategize in the development of design presentations.

The candidate's role and responsibilities, not limited to, will be the following :

1. Design, lead and execute multiple projects simultaneously.

2. Handle projects and co-ordinate with client, internal team and external sub consultants

3. Ensure timely delivery of submissions without any delay

4. Offer new design ideas, solutions and prepare well-researched concept presentations

5. Flag any issues that may arise in the project, take ownership, work with the team to resolve it

6. Develop action plan in response to changing project requirements

7. Prepare reports, drawings, presentations, and renderings as required.

8. Proficiency in software such as CAD, MS Office, Sketch up and Adobe Suite is mandatory.

9. Willingness to adapt to any given reasonable circumstances

10. Manage time efficiently and prioritize work schedules

11. Maintain high documentation standards and present high quality deliverables

Requirements

The candidate is required to have the following eligibility :

1. Bachelors in Architecture with Masters in Architecture / Urban Design.

2. Exceptional work track record of qualified work experience

3. Experience in working on large scale tourism and destination developments

4. Technical knowledge to deliver varied scale and type of projects.

5. Understanding of Eco Tourism Concepts

6. Working expertise in Sustainable Design Strategies

Experience : 8 to 12 years

Qualification :

Masters in Architecture / Urban Planning / Urban Design

Bachelors in Architecture
