We are seeking a highly skilled QA / QC Tester with a strong background in test automation and excellent communication. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products and providing exceptional support to our end-users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain high-quality standards and drive continuous improvement in our development processes. This is a hybrid position for one of our offices in India.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on technical and business requirements.
  • Perform both manual and automated testing to validate product functionality, usability, and performance.
  • Log and track issues using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and operations teams to resolve bugs and ensure high-quality releases.
  • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring issues and contribute to process improvements.
  • Review technical and functional documentation for clarity and completeness.
  • Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA input during sprint planning and design.
  • Communicate testing progress, results, and issues effectively to cross-functional teams and management.
  • Prepare quality metrics, dashboards, and testing reports for key stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering or related field.
  • Strong proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#) for test automation.
  • Solid understanding of QA / QC methodologies and best practices.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Must Have Skills

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within a software development / IT environment.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, software testing lifecycle, and defect lifecycle.
  • Proficient with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.
  • Familiarity with JUnit testing framework or other frameworks.
  • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with automated testing tools for eg : Selenium, TestNG, Cypress.
  • Exposure to performance or security testing.
