Job Description : Data Visualizer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Visualizer with handson experience in Looker and Google Cloud Platform GCP to join our data engineering team The ideal candidate will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into intuitive actionable visual insights that drive business decisions across departments

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Looker

Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to understand data models and business requirements

Optimize LookML models and explore layers for performance and scalability

Integrate GCP services BigQuery Cloud Storage Dataflow etc with Looker for seamless data visualization

Ensure data accuracy consistency and security across visualizations

Translate business needs into technical specifications and visualization logic

Conduct user training and documentation for dashboard usage and selfservice analytics

Monitor and troubleshoot dashboard performance and data refresh issues

Required Skills Qualifications

4 years of experience in data visualization or BI development

Strong proficiency in Looker including LookML dashboards and embedded analytics

Solid understanding of GCP services especially BigQuery Cloud Functions and IAM

Experience with SQL and data modeling best practices

Ability to work with large datasets and optimize queries for performance

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with other BI tools eg Tableau Power BI is a plus

Familiarity with CICD pipelines and version control for LookML

Knowledge of data governance and compliance standards

Certification in GCP or Looker is an advantage
