Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Cloud Engineer / DevOps Engineer. The role involves designing, implementing, and managing scalable cloud infrastructure and robust CI / CD pipelines for AI-powered applications. Daily tasks include automating system configurations, managing cloud resources across AWS / GCP, optimizing performance for high-traffic systems, implementing security and compliance controls, and maintaining database infrastructure. The engineer will collaborate closely with development and AI teams to support rapid deployment cycles, ensure system reliability with 99.9%+ uptime, and build infrastructure that scales from hundreds to millions of requests. This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies and build mission-critical systems from the ground up.

Qualifications

• Cloud Platforms : Strong experience with AWS / GCP / Azure services (EC2, ECS / EKS, Lambda, RDS, VPC, IAM)
• Containerization : Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes for orchestration
• Infrastructure as Code : Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools
• Programming & Scripting : Strong skills in Python, Node.js, and Bash scripting
• CI / CD : Experience building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
• Linux Administration : Advanced Linux system administration and troubleshooting skills
• Databases Experience managing PostgreSQL, Redis, and optimizing database performance
• Monitoring & Observability : Familiarity with CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools
• Security & Compliance : Understanding of security best practices, encryption, and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, GDPR, HIPAA)
• Real-time Systems : Experience with WebSockets, real-time data processing, or similar technologies is a plus
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with ability to debug complex distributed systems
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
• AWS / GCP / Azure certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus

Preferred : Experience with AI / ML infrastructure, multi-tenant SaaS architectures, and high-availability systems handling variable workloads.
