React Accessibility Developer

Job Title : Senior Frontend Engineer – React + Accessibility

Experience Level : 3-5 years

Location : Remote

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer (3+ years) with strong React expertise and a deep understanding of Web Accessibility (A11y) to help us create exceptional, user-friendly digital experiences.

What You’ll Do :

Build and maintain accessible, scalable, and performant React components

Ensure all products meet WCAG 2.1 AA / AAA accessibility standards

Conduct accessibility audits using tools like Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse , and screen readers (NVDA, VoiceOver, JAWS)

Collaborate with UX, Product, and Backend teams to embed accessibility throughout the development lifecycle

Mentor engineers and contribute to internal accessibility best practices

What We’re Looking For :

Hands-on experience in React (Hooks, Context API)

Strong knowledge of WCAG, ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and keyboard navigation

Familiarity with Jest , React Testing Library , and Agile development practices
