  • AUGURAI is looking for a Sales &(Machine Vision System) to be based out of South India (Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Hosur). Looking for someone with 5-8 years experience. Work experience with Manufacturing and Automation is mandatory.We are looking for our first Sales & BD Manager to join our dynamic Machine Vision startup. This is a pivotal role for a driven professional with 5–8 years of experience in industrial automation, hardware, or related tech sales.The ideal candidate will have exceptional communication and client engagement skills, a proactive mindset, and the hunger to shape and grow the sales function from the ground up.This is a rare opportunity to work directly with the founding team and build a rewarding career as the first senior sales hire in a high-growth startup.Position : Sales & Business Development Manager - Machine Vision SystemsFunction : Sales & MarketingLocation : South India (Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Hosur)Reports To : CEO- Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in key Indian industries like automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, and manufacturing.- Strategic Planning : Develop and execute a business development plan tailored to the Indian market to achieve sales targets and expand market presence.- Client Relationships : Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders, ensuring high customer satisfaction and fostering long-term loyalty.- Sales Leadership : Lead the entire sales process from prospecting to closing deals, including preparing proposals and negotiating contracts.- Technical Expertise : Maintain a deep understanding of machine vision products, customizing solutions to meet the specific needs of Indian clients.- Collaboration : Work closely with internal teams (marketing, engineering, customer support) to align efforts and achieve business goals.- Market Knowledge : Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs in India.- Reporting : Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and business development activities for senior management.- Travel : Willingness to travel extensively across India to meet clients and attend industry events.- Qualifications : 5+ years of experience in business development or sales within the machine vision or related technology sectors in India;
