Job Title : Infra-Security Engineer.

Loc : Bengaluru.

Experience : 5+ years.

Job Type : Contract to hire.

Notice Period : Immediate Skills : Illumio Core (ASP),network security,Illumio Explorer, VENs, and policy writing (rulesets, labels, etc.

Key Responsibility :

• Design and implement micro-segmentation using Illumio Core to reduce attack surfaces and improve lateral movement prevention.
• Perform application dependency mapping using Illumios tools and third-party data sources.
• Work with application and infrastructure teams to define and enforce segmentation policies.
• Monitor policy performance, analyse traffic patterns, and continuously optimize segmentation strategies.
• Manage and maintain Illumio PCE (Policy Compute Engine) infrastructure.
• Collaborate with network security and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements and audit controls.
• Troubleshoot segmentation-related issues and provide operational support.
• Create documentation and train internal teams on Illumio usage and micro-segmentation best requirements :
• 5+ years of experience in network security, with a strong understanding of segmentation principles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Illumio Core (ASP) in an enterprise environment.
• Solid understanding of TCP / IP networking, firewalls, and east-west traffic flows.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments.
• Proficiency in using Illumio Explorer, VENs, and policy writing (rulesets, labels, etc.
• Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
