Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented BIM Modeler (Mechanical & Electrical) to join our design and engineering team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in CAD to BIM conversion, 3D modeling, and MEP coordination using Revit and other BIM tools. This role involves developing high-quality BIM models and drawings while ensuring compliance with project standards and design requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage 3D MEP models (Mechanical & Electrical) from CAD drawings using Revit .
- Create and modify parametric families up to LOD 500 as per project needs.
- Perform CAD to BIM conversion with high accuracy and adherence to design intent.
- Coordinate and integrate models across disciplines including HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Fire Protection .
- Prepare installation drawings , coordination drawings , and shop drawings from BIM models.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure model accuracy and consistency.
- Use Navisworks for clash detection , model review, and coordination.
- Maintain BIM standards and ensure quality of all deliverables.
- Stay updated with evolving BIM technologies, practices, and standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering , Electrical Engineering , or a related field.3–5 years of experience in BIM modeling (Mechanical and / or Electrical).Proficiency in Revit MEP , AutoCAD , and Navisworks .Strong understanding of LOD standards , BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) , and stakeholder requirements.Knowledge of building services systems — HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical , and Fire Protection .High attention to detail with strong accuracy and time-management capabilities.Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.Preferred Qualifications
Experience working on Middle East projects .Experience with international BIM standards (ISO 19650, AIA, BS / EN).Knowledge of Dynamo or other BIM automation tools.Experience with clash detection , coordination meetings, and BIM documentation workflows.
