Job Summary / Objective :

We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Laravel Developer to join our engineering team and take ownership of building robust backend systems, mentoring junior developers, and driving best practices in software development.

Responsibilities :

Lead the design, development, and maintenance of SaaS applications using Laravel framework.
Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable backend solutions.
Work closely with product managers, designers, and frontend developers to deliver high-quality features.
Optimize application performance, database queries, and system workflows.
Integrate third-party APIs and create RESTful APIs for seamless product functionality.
Ensure best practices in code quality, security, testing, and documentation.
Mentor junior developers, review code, and support in technical problem-solving.
Stay up to date with the latest trends in PHP, Laravel, cloud technologies, and SaaS architecture.

Requirements :

4–5 years of professional experience in PHP development, with at least 3+ years of hands-on expertise in Laravel.

Strong understanding of OOP, MVC architecture, and design patterns.

Experience in building and scaling SaaS-based applications.

Proficiency in MySQL / PostgreSQL, query optimization, and database design.

Experience with REST APIs, Microservices, and third-party integrations.

Familiarity with AWS / GCP / Azure cloud environments.

Knowledge of Docker, CI / CD pipelines, Git, and agile methodologies.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and leadership skills to guide the team.

Good to Have (Optional) :

Experience with Vue.js / React / Angular for full-stack development.

Knowledge of queues, caching (Redis), and message brokers (RabbitMQ / Kafka).

Exposure to DevOps tools and server management.

Previous experience working in a fast-paced SaaS startup environment.
