AWS Java Developer

Job Title : Senior Backend Developer – Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS (CTH – 1 Year)

Location : Hyderabad / Bangalore (Hybrid / On-site)

Experience Required : 5+ Years (Mandatory)

Job Type : Contract-to-Hire (1 Year) with potential FTE conversion | FTE Role

Interview Mode : Face-to-Face (F2F) or Virtual (based on availability)

About the Role :

We are looking for a highly experienced Backend Developer with 5+ years of relevant hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, AWS , and Kafka .

This is a Contract-to-Hire (CTH) opportunity for 1 year, with the potential for full-time conversion based on performance and business needs. Ideal candidates must be immediately available or able to join within a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade microservices using Java (8+) and Spring Boot

Implement scalable, distributed systems with Kafka for event streaming

Develop cloud-native applications utilizing AWS services such as :

S3 (object storage)

Lambda (serverless compute)

ECS (container orchestration)

Collaborate with frontend, DevOps, QA, and product teams for successful feature rollouts

Optimize system performance and ensure availability, security, and scalability

Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical discussions

Required Skills & Experience :

Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend development

Strong command of Java 8+ , Spring Boot , and Microservices

Proficiency in using Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming

Sound experience working with AWS services – S3 , Lambda , ECS

Solid understanding of REST APIs, security best practices, and CI / CD pipelines

Good exposure to Docker and containerization strategies
