About the Role

The role involves supporting the continuous monitoring of grants and funding sources across a variety of available funds such as state and local funds, federal formula programs, federal and / or state competitive grants, and / or private sector grants.

Responsibilities

Creating, enhancing, managing, disseminating, and implementing a wide array of internal and external funding resources across the public and private sectors.
Oversight and enhancements to team’s operating procedures, established databases, resources, tools, and other project implementations while increasing the automation and swift delivery of resources to internal and external stakeholders.
Monitoring and updating internal / external project requests, databases and related project and performance dashboards.
Researching and qualifying grant opportunities and applications for education partners.
Supporting the development of funding collateral including guides, toolkits, presentations and other resources.

Qualifications

Two-year college, technical degree or equivalent from accredited university.

Bachelor’s degree in education, marketing, business, finance or relevant field and 8+ years of experience in K-12 education market strongly preferred.

Experience in grants (public or private sector), federal administration, purchasing, procurement, government affairs, legislation, policy or other related position or experience strongly desired.

Required Skills

Keen attention to detail and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Exceptional technical writing, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.

Strong interpersonal skills as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Self-motivated, results-driven with a high level of initiative, independence and embodies a sense of urgency.

High adaptability and flexibility, including the ability to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, projects and overall change.

Expertise in business software applications and design (such as Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, PowerBI, Smartsheet, CRM systems, etc.) is highly desired.

Preferred Skills

Experience in grants management and funding strategies.

Familiarity with educational policies and funding mechanisms.
