Job Title : Business Development Manager / Sr. Manager IT Sales

Location : Mumbai, India

Experience Required : 3 to 5 years

Notice Period : 30 to 60 days (Immediate joiners preferred)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager / Sr. Manager IT Sales to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling IT infrastructure-related solutions, including Server, Storage, Virtualization, Infrastructure Software, and Security solutions. The role demands a strong understanding of the IT industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and OEM suppliers.

Roles & Responsibilities :

  • IT Knowledge : Demonstrate moderate knowledge of IT infrastructure to effectively communicate with clients.
  • Solution & Consultative Approach : Use a solution-based and consultative sales approach to understand and meet client needs.
  • Client Requirement Gathering : Collect and analyze customer requirements to tailor solutions.
  • Business Proposals : Prepare and send compelling business proposals to prospective clients.
  • Sales Negotiation & Escalation Handling : Negotiate terms and handle any escalations to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Closing : Successfully close sales deals and ensure smooth transitions.
  • End-to-End Sales Management : Manage the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to post-sale support.

Key Requirements :

  • Experience : 3-5 years of relevant experience in IT infrastructure sales, with a focus on hardware, software, and security solutions.
  • Business Development : Proven track record in mapping and bringing in new business and large customer accounts.
  • Client Relationship : Ability to establish professional relationships with decision-makers and understand their business needs.
  • OEM Coordination : Maintain and coordinate relationships with leading Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs).
  • Corporate & Enterprise Sales : Experience selling to corporate, enterprise, and strategic customers.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Organizational Skills : Strong organizational skills to manage multiple clients and projects effectively.

  • Education :
  • Undergraduate : Bachelor's degree in Science (BSc) or Information Technology (BSIT) preferred. Candidates with a BA or BCom degree may also be considered.
  • Postgraduate : MBA preferred.
