Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Operations Engineer with 7-13 years of expertise in complex network environments to join our team in Bangalore or Pune. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of routing protocols, data center networking, and security appliances, alongside practical experience with leading network hardware and software. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure within an ITIL-structured organization, ensuring high availability and optimal Responsibilities Protocol Expertise :

Design, configure, and troubleshoot expert-level routing protocols, with mandatory strong hands-on experience in BGP (Border Gateway Protocol).
Possess solid experience with EIGRP (Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol) and OSPF (Open Shortest Path First).
Optimize routing paths and ensure efficient data flow across the Center Networking :
Demonstrate strong understanding and relevant experience with EVPN (Ethernet VPN) and VXLAN (Virtual Extensible LAN) in modern data center network environments.
Implement and manage scalable, high-performance data center network Management & Security :
Possess practical, hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls, including configuration, policy management, and troubleshooting.
Ensure network security best practices are implemented and Platforms :
Proven experience working with and managing large-scale Cisco or Arista switching platforms.
Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot switching infrastructure for optimal performance and Network Design & Implementation :
Design and implement robust WLANs (Wireless Local Area Networks) and other wireless networks.
Utilize expertise with Cisco and Juniper Mist wireless Framework Adherence :
Demonstrate hands-on experience working in an ITIL-structured organization.
Proficiently handle Incident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management processes to

ensure operational efficiency and minimize Monitoring & Troubleshooting Tools :

Possess basic knowledge and practical experience with network analysis and monitoring tools such as Wireshark, Kentik, Prometheus, or similar platforms.

Utilize these tools for network performance monitoring, fault isolation, and proactive issue System Knowledge (Advantageous) :

Basic knowledge of Linux OS will be an added advantage for network management and automation : 7-13 years of dedicated experience in Network Operations or Network Engineering Expertise :

Expert-level practical experience with BGP, EIGRP, and OSPF.

Strong understanding and experience with EVPN and VXLAN in data center environments.

Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewalls.

Proven experience with Cisco or Arista switching platforms.

Experience in designing and implementing WLANs using Cisco and Juniper Mist.

Methodology : Hands-on experience with ITIL processes (Incident, Change, Problem Tools : Basic knowledge of network monitoring tools like Wireshark, Kentik, or Operating Systems : Knowledge of Linux OS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CCIE, CCNP, JNCIE, Palo Alto PCNSE) are a significant Attributes :
