Job Summary
We are looking for a junior–mid level Firewall Engineer to support the migration of users from legacy VPN solutions to Palo Alto Prisma Access ZTNA . The engineer will assist in user discovery, policy setup, client deployment, testing, and troubleshooting as part of a large-scale remote access consolidation initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Support migration from existing VPNs to Prisma Access (ZTNA) .
- Assess current VPN users, applications, and access patterns.
- Assist in configuring Prisma Access : IdP integration (Entra ID), posture checks, and access policies.
- Help deploy and test Prisma GlobalProtect / Prisma ZTNA clients for end-users.
- Validate secure connectivity, policy enforcement (allow / deny), and failover behavior.
- Work with UEM / EDR tools to ensure posture check compliance.
- Monitor logs and alerts via SIEM (Chronicle or similar).
- Provide troubleshooting and basic administrative support.
- Assist with documentation and user onboarding (client setup, MFA, posture requirements).
Qualifications
1–3 years of experience in network security, remote access, or firewall operations.Basic hands-on knowledge of Palo Alto Networks , VPNs, or ZTNA technologies.Familiarity with Entra ID (Azure AD) , MFA, and identity-based access.Understanding of endpoint posture checks (UEM / EDR).Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.Nice to Have
Exposure to Palo Alto Panorama or Prisma Access.Experience with SIEM tools (e.g., Chronicle, Splunk).Certifications such as PCCET, PCNSA, or similar.
