Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a PTC Windchill System Administrator. Expertise in Linux system administration, with L4 level proficiency. Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl) to automate tasks and solve complex problems. In-depth knowledge of PTC Windchill architecture, configuration, and customization. Experience with system monitoring tools and techniques. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact with team members and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Relevant certifications (e.g., PTC Windchill, Linux) are a plus. Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services. Knowledge of database management and SQL. Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices. Understanding of network protocols and security measures.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain PTC Windchill systems, ensuring optimal performance and availability.
- Manage and troubleshoot Linux servers, utilizing L4 level expertise to address complex issues.
- Develop and maintain scripts to automate system processes and enhance functionality.
- Perform regular system updates, patches, and configuration changes to ensure security and stability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PTC Windchill with other enterprise systems.
- Monitor system performance and resource utilization, implementing proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
- Document system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for future reference.
