Join Us in Redefining the BFSI Landscape : We're looking for a talented Head of Global Market Operations Back Office India who can bring their unique skills to our team

The Global Markets Operations (GMO) Back Office India is in charge of supervising the production of different teams in an efficient and sound way and manage projects around his / her scope.

In her / his day to day, the candidate will communicate with Regional Head of Back office, Head office managers, compliance, operational risk, Middle and Front office (sales, traders and Business managers), IT, HR, COO Project Team and GMO Project Team.

The team is composed of different sub teams on all Global Markets Business lines that work on both derivatives and securities.

There are many projects and New Products impacting her / his scope which require a critical thinking and ability to adapt to changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Head of Global Market Operations Back Office India at Natixis, your responsibilities will include :

Control daily the KRI by ensuring proper escalation level and quality of comments in the tools

Ensure a zero delay on all internal and external audit as long as any regulatory requirement

Improve efficiency of the team by doing regular sit in with minutes and adjusting the documents in place to tracks unitary time of every process and create synergies between her / his teams

Set up the governance meetings, ie daily meeting with the sub teams, weekly meeting with her / his team leader and weekly meeting with offshore managers

Propose and deliver efficiency gains by streamlining or automating processing

Maintain knowledge to a high level by reviewing the skill matrix and propose action plan to improve knowledge sharing

Manage wisely holidays to avoid end of year packs

Report and monitor the capacity management of the teams and raise early warning to her / his management

Declare incidents, client complaints and follow related action plans

Change mindset of the team by influencing them to challenge process and have a risk-based approach (team member should raise her / him early warning whether capacity, FO request or behavior to ensure proper segregation of duties, or risky process)

Improve her / his team leader skillsets for them to monitor production indicators and allocation of tasks within the team

Regularly assess the quality of the teams with offshore managers (Head Office and Regional Head of Back Office) to keep trust and follow action plan if any.

Maintain and develop documentation (SOP / Procedures) according to Natixis Standard

Required Skills

To be a great fit for this role, you should have :

Good cross-asset products and operational process knowledge

Excellent communication skills

Organized with strong attention to details

Self-motivated and is comfortable working in autonomy

Teamwork player and strong Leadership

Knowledge of Murex or Summit is a plus

Experience

At least 15 years’ experience in banking industry with previous management role
