Job Description

Position Title : Full Stack Development Instructor

Location : Remote

Type : Part-time (Full-time role shall be offered based on performance)

Experience : 2+ years (industry / academic)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer and Educator to join as a part-time instructor for our Professional Certification in Full Stack Development with Generative AI.

This role involves designing, developing, and delivering an applied, project-based curriculum covering the full web development lifecycle — from front-end design to backend engineering, DevOps integration, and AI-assisted development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Curriculum Design & Development

  • Design and structure a comprehensive 6–9 month Full Stack Development program, integrating modern GenAI tools and best practices.
  • Develop detailed learning modules and projects across :
  • Frontend : HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, Responsive Design, Bootstrap / Tailwind
  • Backend : Node.js, Express.js, RESTful APIs, Authentication (JWT, OAuth)
  • Database Management : MongoDB, SQL, NoSQL
  • DevOps Integration : CI / CD, Docker, Cloud Deployment (AWS, Render, Netlify)
  • Version Control : Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions
  • Generative AI in Development : Using AI for code completion, testing, API design, and debugging (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT API)
  • Create capstone projects and real-world case studies (e.g., E-commerce platforms, portfolio builders, job portals, and SaaS dashboards).
  • Collaborate with the curriculum and product team to ensure learning outcomes match industry standards and hiring expectations.

2. Course Delivery

  • Conduct live online sessions and mentor learners through hands-on coding, debugging, and deployment.
  • Simplify complex technical concepts into beginner-friendly, project-driven lessons.
  • Support students through weekly labs, coding challenges, and group projects.
  • Provide 1 : 1 mentorship and guidance on assignments, career paths, and interview preparation.
  • Evaluate performance via quizzes, code reviews, and final project assessments.

    • 3. Mentorship & Content Creation

  • Develop interactive content, including coding notebooks, slides, quizzes, and assignments.
  • Mentor students on building industry-ready portfolios showcasing full-stack and AI-integrated applications.
  • Stay up to date with the latest frameworks, cloud integrations, and AI-assisted development tools.

    • Preferred Skills & Experience

  • 3–7 years of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer / Software Engineer.
  • Strong expertise in :

    • Frontend : HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Redux, Tailwind

    Backend : Node.js, Express.js

    Databases : MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL

    Cloud : AWS / GCP / Vercel / Render

    DevOps basics (CI / CD pipelines, Git, Docker)

  • Familiarity with AI-assisted tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT API, Replit AI) for productivity and teaching.
  • Prior experience in teaching, mentoring, or curriculum design is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to engage and motivate learners in an online environment.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven portfolio or GitHub profile with production-grade full-stack projects.
  • Teaching certifications or prior edtech experience is a plus.
