Job Title : Power BI Developer with Tableau

Location : Remote (India)

Job Type : 6 Months contract

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Power BI Developer with Tableau expertise to design, develop, and maintain advanced business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, analytics, and reporting, and will be responsible for transforming complex data into meaningful insights that support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and Tableau .
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Create data models, DAX measures, and calculated fields to optimize report performance and accuracy.
  • Integrate data from various sources (SQL Server, Azure, Excel, SharePoint, APIs, etc.) into Power BI / Tableau.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple data sources.
  • Implement security and access control for reports and dashboards.
  • Automate data refresh schedules and manage BI deployments.
  • Conduct performance tuning and optimization for BI reports and queries.
  • Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and self-service BI capabilities.
  • Stay current with the latest BI tools, trends, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in BI development using Power BI and Tableau .
  • Strong understanding of data modeling , ETL processes , and data warehousing concepts.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis.
  • Experience with DAX , Power Query (M language) , and Tableau calculations .
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience integrating BI tools with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, Snowflake, etc.) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git, Azure DevOps) and Agile methodologies preferred.
