About the Role

We are seeking a Chartered Accountant (CA or ICWA) with proven expertise in General Ledger (GL) consolidation , SPA (Shared Platform Accounting) , and SAP S / 4HANA implementation . This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in driving financial transformation and ensuring robust consolidation processes across multiple business entities.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage SPA GL consolidation across multiple entities and geographies.

Drive and support S / 4HANA Finance module implementations , focusing on GL and consolidation areas.

Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting compliant with US GAAP and internal policies.

Partner with IT, Finance, and external consultants to align system design with business requirements.

Optimize GL processes, chart of accounts, and financial close activities.

Conduct gap analysis , prepare functional documentation, and support system testing.

Resolve issues related to data integrity, reporting accuracy, and system configuration .

Qualifications

CA / ICWA (mandatory).

Minimum 5 years of experience in GL Consolidation and Financial Reporting .

At least 2 years of hands-on experience with SAP S / 4HANA (Finance / GL modules).

Solid knowledge of US GAAP and international accounting standards.

Experience in SAP implementation or migration projects .

Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

SAP Group Reporting or BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) experience.

Familiarity with IFRS and global accounting frameworks.

Experience in shared service or multinational environments.

Exposure to entity-level accounting and P&L handling (not just reporting).

Additional Information

Work setup : On-site (5 days a week).

Interview rounds : 4–5 stages.

Only local candidates (Chennai-based) will be considered.
