Role : Mainframe Developer with IDMS

Band : B2 / B3 / C1

Experience Range : B2 : 5- 8 years

B3 : 8 - 12 years

C1 : 12 - 15 years

Location : PAN India - Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Noida, Gurgaon, Pune, Kolkata, Bhubaneswar, Kochi, Coimbatore

About the Role :

We are seeking experienced Mainframe Developers with strong expertise in IDMS and related mainframe technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design, development, and support of mainframe applications, with hands-on exposure to enterprise-grade systems.

Key Responsibilities :

Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using IDMS.
Work with Db2, VSAM, CICS, EasyTrieve, JCL to deliver scalable mainframe solutions.
Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance mainframe jobs and applications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
Manage and monitor batch jobs using TWS / OPC scheduler (preferred).
Support production systems, ensuring performance and stability.
Contribute to application modernization and transformation initiatives.

Required Skills :

Mandatory : Strong hands-on expertise in IDMS.

Experience with : Db2, VSAM, CICS, EasyTrieve, JCL.

Knowledge of mainframe job schedulers (TWS / OPC) is a plus.

Exposure to Consumer domain projects preferred.

Strong debugging, problem-solving, and performance tuning skills.

Qualifications :

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Relevant experience in large-scale mainframe application development.
