Operations Manager

JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 plus years of hands-on experience in managing Productions / last mile delivery operations / fleet management / fleet sourcing in a fast-paced environment. As an Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of our last mile delivery operations to ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of goods to our customers

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategic Planning : Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize last mile delivery operations, including route planning, vehicle utilization, and resource allocation.
• Team Leadership : Lead and motivate a team of delivery drivers and warehouse staff to ensure high performance, productivity, and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Performance Monitoring : Continuously monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as necessary to meet or exceed operational targets.
• Quality Assurance : Implement quality assurance processes to maintain the highest standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction, including timely resolution of delivery issues and customer complaints.
• Vendor Management : Manage relationships with third-party delivery vendors and carriers to ensure alignment with company standards and service level agreements.
• Client Management : Manage relationships with clients to ensure alignment with company standards and service level agreements.
• Compliance : Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards governing last mile delivery operations, including driver licensing, vehicle maintenance, and transportation regulations.
• Cost Management : Identify opportunities to reduce costs and optimize operational expenses without compromising service quality or delivery performance.
• Continuous Improvement : Drive a culture of continuous improvement by implementing best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
