Job Description : Registrar - Head of Admissions (Asst. Director level)
Reporting to : Chief Executive Officer
Salary Range : Rs. 15-18 lacs + benefits
Location of posting : Andheri East, Mumbai
Professional Experience : 18-22 years+
Key Responsibilities :
- Business Development & Revenue Budget : Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the institute's positioning, offerings, and revenue streams. Identify growth opportunities, partnerships, and alliances to meet annual budgets.
- Admissions and Student Recruitment : Oversee the admissions process, ensuring efficiency, fairness, and adherence to institutional policies. Develop strategies to attract high-calibre students locally and internationally, meeting enrolment targets.
- Branding and Marketing : Develop and execute comprehensive branding and marketing strategies to enhance the institute's visibility and reputation. Utilize both traditional and digital marketing channels to reach all stakeholders effectively.
- Administration and Operations Management : Streamline administrative processes and optimize operational efficiency across departments. Supervise day-to-day operations, facilities management, and resource allocation.
- Finance and Accounts Management : Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and expense management to achieve financial targets and sustainably manage resources. Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Human Resources Management : Manage HR initiatives, including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, and employee relations. Foster a positive organisational culture conducive to productivity and employee satisfaction.
- Compliance and Regulatory Affairs : Stay abreast of regulatory changes and ensure institutional compliance with relevant laws and regulations. Manage reporting requirements and maintain documentation to support regulatory compliance.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management : Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with industry partners, alumni, government agencies, and other stakeholders. Represent the institute at relevant forums, conferences, and networking events to promote collaboration and visibility.
- Student Support and Services : Oversee the provision of comprehensive student support services, including counselling, academic advising, and career guidance. Implement initiatives to enhance student satisfaction, retention, and success.
- Technology Integration and Innovation : Identify opportunities for technological innovation and digital transformation to enhance operational efficiency and improve management of financial management and reporting.
- Placement Services : Establish and maintain relationships with industry partners to facilitate student placements and internships, ensuring optimal career opportunities for students.
- Continuous Learning and Professional Development : Stay updated on trends, innovations, and best practices in gems & jewellery education and related fields. Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance leadership skills and knowledge.
- Ethical Leadership and Institutional Values : Uphold ethical standards and promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and inclusivity within the institute. Champion the institution's mission, vision, and values.
Functional Knowledge :
Strong understanding of student recruitment, lead conversion and CRM tools.Knowledge of gems and jewellery sector trends and career opportunities is desirable.Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, with a focus on consultative selling and relationship building.Competencies :
Excellent communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills.Analytical mindset with strong business acumen and a results-oriented approach.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple stakeholders.
