Quality Analyst Lead

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in manual testing to lead and manage the quality assurance process for our software products. The ideal candidate will ensure that all deliverables meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

Lead and manage a team of QA engineers focused on manual testing.

Develop and implement test strategies, plans, and cases based on requirements and design documents.

Ensure comprehensive test coverage across functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.

Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.

Track and report testing progress, defects, and quality metrics to management.

Conduct root cause analysis for defects and recommend process improvements.

Mentor and train junior QA team members.

Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

5+ years of experience in manual testing, with at least 2 years in a lead role.

Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect management processes.

Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to work in an Agile / Scrum environment.

Preferred Skills :

Knowledge of automation concepts (even if primary focus is manual).

Experience in testing web, mobile, and API applications.

Familiarity with performance and security testing basics.
