Job description5+ years of experience as a Front-End or WordPress Developer. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript , and responsive frameworks. Proven experience converting Figma designs into pixel-perfect web pages. Expertise in WordPress front-end development, custom themes, template hierarchy, and CMS configuration. Understanding of PHP (basic / moderate) for WordPress templating. Experience with CSS animations, transitions, grids, flexbox , and modern UI patterns. Familiarity with performance optimization (minification, lazy loading, etc.). Knowledge of SEO-friendly markup and accessibility guidelines (WCAG). Experience with Gutenberg and reusable blocks. Familiarity with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) . Understanding of version control systems (Git). Experience working within Agile / Scrum environments. Complete Figma files (design system, visuals, and component library). Structured content, wireframes, and clear functional specifications. Strong expertise in responsive design , flexbox, grid layout Ability to convert Figma designs into pixel-perfect UI Experience with CSS frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind, or custom SCSS) Proficient in CSS animations , transitions, and component styling Deep understanding of WordPress theme development Knowledge of template hierarchy , custom page templates , and post / page rendering Experience building or customizing WordPress child themes Familiarity with Gutenberg editor , reusable blocks, and block styling Ability to integrate design into dynamic templates (posts, pages, custom post types) Basic to intermediate knowledge of PHP for WordPress templating Experience working with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) or similar tools Ability to configure WordPress backend for easy content updates Knowledge of WordPress hooks, shortcodes, and widgets (optional but beneficial) Image optimization, lazy loading, minification Core Web Vitals understanding (CLS, LCP, FID) Familiar with caching concepts (server, plugin-based) Cross-browser compatibility testing Multi-device responsiveness testing Debugging using browser dev tools Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) Experience using Git or similar version control Familiar with build tools like Webpack , Gulp , Vite , or npm scripts Comfortable working with Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar task tracking tools
Front-End Developer to convert completed Figma website designs into a fully functional, high-quality WordPress website. All content, wireframes, and visual elements are already created — the role focuses entirely on front-end development and ensuring that the final build matches the approved designs with pixel-perfect accuracy.
This position requires strong expertise in HTML, CSS, JavaScript , responsive design, and WordPress theme development , including applying custom designs to both static pages and dynamic templates (posts / pages).
Key Responsibilities
- Convert Figma visuals and wireframes into responsive, high-performance front-end layouts.
- Develop a custom WordPress theme or child theme aligned with the approved design.
- Implement the visual design across :
- Static pages
- Dynamic templates (posts, pages, custom post types if required)
- Ensure design accuracy, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Optimize UI for performance, accessibility, and SEO best practices.
- Collaborate with content and design teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Configure WordPress CMS so non-technical users can easily update content.
- Test and debug front-end components across devices and browsers.
