Audit Staff-(Journal Entry Testing)

Job Description :

Responsibilities Includes, but not Limited to :

Perform end-to-end testing of journal entries as part of internal controls and financial statement audits.

Identify and extract samples of journal entries based on predefined audit criteria (manual, unusual, high-risk entries, etc.)

Review supporting documentation to validate accuracy, completeness, and appropriateness of journal entries.

Assess whether journal entries comply with accounting standards, company policies, and internal control requirements.

Execute audit procedures related to JE testing, walkthroughs, and controls testing.

Position Requirements :

Inter CA or B. Com / M. Com with relevant audit or JE testing experience.

Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, journal entry processes, and internal controls.

Proficiency in Excel, including v-lookups, pivot tables, filters, and basic analytical functions.

Good communication skills for interacting with client teams and audit stakeholders.

Ability to handle deadlines, follow audit methodology, and maintain high-quality documentation.

Job Location : Ahmedabad or Hyderabad

Shift Time : 10 : 30 am to 7 pm
