Workforce Staffing (WFS) manages Amazon’s Tier 1 talent supply chain. We attract, hire, and onboard the associates who, by fulfilling orders at the frontlines of the company, make Amazon a global leader in delivery and logistics. Social Responsibility & Compliance specialist will work across APAC countries to conceptualize, build and drive social responsibility and compliance mechanisms. The role holder will also own conducting proactive internal social responsibility audits. In APAC countries, we work with multiple labor vendors and as we scale new initiatives like RTP in India, foreign workers hiring in Japan and as we expand to more countries in APAC, this person will work closely with Human Rights & Social Impact (HRSI), Operations Social Responsibility (Ops SR), Operations and PXT to build, drive and scale mechanisms which proactively identifies and solves potential issues related to social responsibility and compliance (including labor compliance). Key job responsibilitiesThe role holder works backward from customers and design, deploy and scale mechanisms and run SR & compliance charter in workforce staffing.Regularly visit field locations, vendor offices and interact with candidates to understand first hand.Conduct periodic proactive internal SR audits at regular schedule.Teaches and train WFS field team members on SR policies, processes and compliance framework. Work with vendor partners in define and implement vendor recruitment policy Leads and drives change initiatives and projects, of increasing scale and complexity, through to completion Review and reimagine process, policies and practices in hiring and related processes. Implement process changes in collaboration with cross functional teams Prepare, analyze and review the key business metrics in a periodic manner and surface the right insights to the leadership for high-quality decision making Conduct market intelligence study to gather market insights on job market, vendor landscape Ensure compliance to internal policies and laws of the land via regular audits, reviews and implementing corrective measuresCreates roadmap and leads implementation of initiatives pertaining to quality of hire, cost-to-serve initiatives and talent pipeline creation Review and reimagine process, policies and practices in hiring and related processes.
