SAP MDG Consultant - BP / MM Modules

Description : About the Role :

LanceSoft is seeking a highly experienced SAP MDG Consultant to join our team and contribute to global master data governance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in SAP MDG-BP and MDG-M data models, a solid technical foundation, and hands-on experience implementing and enhancing MDG processes across complex enterprise environments.

This role requires strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, compliant, and efficient data governance solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead SAP MDG configuration and customization for Business Partner (BP), Material (M), and related domains.
• Design, implement, and enhance MDG data models, process models, and UI models.
• Develop and optimize SMT mappings, BRF+ validations, and derivations to meet business rules and data quality standards.
• Support data replication and distribution processes across connected systems.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose solutions, and implement best practices.
• Manage support tickets, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with functional and technical teams for resolution.
• Work with ALE / IDoc and proxy interfaces to ensure accurate and reliable data integration.
• Participate in data migration projects, ensuring smooth transition and data consistency across systems.
• Contribute to system documentation, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
