About the Role :

We’re looking for a Freight Manager (Ocean Freight) to lead our ocean freight operations and commercial strategy. The ideal candidate will manage end-to-end sales and purchase of ocean freight , ensuring competitive rates, reliable carrier partnerships, and seamless shipment execution for our SME exporters.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage procurement and negotiation of ocean freight rates with carriers and forwarders.
• Drive freight sales — identify, onboard, and manage SME customers for export shipments.
• Optimize freight margins and ensure timely, cost-effective movement of goods.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and tech teams to deliver best-in-class export fulfillment.
• Track market trends, capacity, and pricing to maintain a competitive edge.
