About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative and technically proficient Video Editor to be the driving force behind our visual storytelling across YouTube and key social platforms (Instagram Reels, LinkedIn). This role is crucial for humanizing our advanced AI and product-engineering work, converting technical deep-dives into compelling, high-retention video content. You will be instrumental in translating our core values—innovation, simplicity, and creativity—into video assets that captivate a global audience of B2B clients, developers, and industry leaders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Short-Form Content (Reels / Shorts – High Volume)
- Lead the rapid editing and production of engaging, vertical-format videos for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and LinkedIn.
- Master the techniques of short-form content (fast cuts, kinetic typography, trending sound synchronization) to maximize hook rate and view-through metrics.
- Transform 10-20 minute long-form videos and internal interviews into 5−10 high-impact, sub-60-second clips per week.
2. Long-Form Content (YouTube – High Quality)
Own the end-to-end post-production for main channel videos (e.g., product case studies, expert interviews on AI / ML, and company culture documentaries).Create cinematic, high-retention edits by ensuring impeccable pacing, narrative flow, and visual clarity, especially when discussing complex technical concepts (FinTech security, EdTech scalability, etc.).Design and integrate custom motion graphics, title cards, and lower thirds that align with our modern, innovative design aesthetic.3. Technical & Creative Execution
Perform professional-grade color correction, audio mixing, and sound design to elevate video quality to an industry-leading standard.Collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to maintain brand consistency and meet project deadlines under a fast-paced, agile production cycle.Source and manage stock footage, music, and sound effects legally and efficiently.Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience : 2-4 years of professional experience in video editing, specifically with a focus on both YouTube and short-form social media platforms.Technical Proficiency (Mandatory) : Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically :Adobe Premiere Pro (Expert-level editing)Adobe After Effects (Motion graphics and visual effects)Creative Storytelling : Proven ability to structure raw footage into compelling narratives that hold audience attention, particularly in the tech and B2B space.Pacing & Metrics : Deep understanding of platform-specific best practices, including why a hook works on YouTube vs. a Reel, and how to edit to boost watch time and engagement rate.Portfolio : A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing examples of high-quality long-form videos AND fast-paced, engaging short-form content.What We Offer
