We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Industry Marketing Manager to join our team in Bangalore immediately and support our AI startup’s marketing initiatives. In this contract role, you will be responsible for developing and executing B2B marketing strategies tailored to specific industry audiences, driving awareness, adoption, and revenue for our services. You will act as a bridge between the founder, product teams and target industries, translating complex technical solutions into compelling value propositions that resonate with industry-specific challenges and opportunities. This job may require presence in our office once open, five days a week.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive content to allow the web development team to deliver a finished company website within the first week from hire.
- Expert English proficiency is strongly desired and prior experience developing written content is a pre-requisite for this role.
- Qualified applicants must submit prior examples of their work.
- Creative writing is key to capturing user attention and your ability to tell user stories that draw in a business audience is vital to our success.
- Must be able to develop content without the use of AI tools to ensure IP compliance.
- Support the development and execution of comprehensive industry marketing plans for designated vertical markets (e.G. Public Sector, Retail, Contact Center), aligning with overall company objectives.
- Must have prior experience conducting in-depth market research independently to understand industry trends, customer pain points, competitive landscapes, and regulatory requirements impacting cloud adoption within target verticals.
- Create compelling, industry-specific messaging and content, including whitepapers, case studies, solution briefs, presentations, website copy, and sales enablement materials.
- Collaborate closely with the Founder and subsequently with product management, sales, and partner marketing teams to ensure consistent messaging and successful execution of go-to-market strategies for new product offerings.
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, events, webinars, content syndication) designed to generate leads and accelerate pipeline within target industries.
- Partner with sales teams to develop industry-specific sales tools, training, and collateral that enable them to effectively articulate the value of our cloud solutions.
- Monitor and analyze marketing program performance, providing regular reports on KPIs, ROI, and insights for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
Must be able to work during US business hours as required.Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.4 years of experience in B2B marketing, with a strong preference for experience in enterprise technology and AI.Demonstrated experience developing and executing industry-specific marketing strategies and campaigns.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value for diverse audiences.Expert proficiency in English language skillsProven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and other marketing teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to measure and report on marketing performance.Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.G., Marketo, HubSpot) and CRM systems (e.G., Salesforce) is a plus.Self-motivated, proactive, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Ability to deliver strong results in highly compressed intervals
