Job Summary :
We are seeking a highly experienced and technically sound Senior Oracle EBS Technical Application Support / Developer with a strong background in PL / SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, and hands-on experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). A mandatory requirement for this role is functional knowledge and working experience in Oracle ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning) modules, including project or support engagements.
This role is crucial in supporting, enhancing, and troubleshooting Oracle EBS applications across Order Management, Planning, Procurement, Finance, and other integrated areas to ensure seamless business continuity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Act as a techno-functional expert in supporting Oracle EBS modules, primarily :
1. Order Management, Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP), Procurement, Planning, and Finance
Develop, enhance, and maintain PL / SQL scripts, stored procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.Customize and troubleshoot Oracle Forms, Reports, APEX, and SOA-based integrations to meet evolving business needs.Collaborate with functional teams and business users to identify, diagnose, and resolve complex system issues.Provide Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions for critical P1 and P2 incidents.Handle data migrations, system integrations, and build interfaces between Oracle EBS and other enterprise platforms.Ensure system performance through tuning, optimization, and adherence to security standards.Participate in and support system upgrades, patching, and enhancement projects.Log, manage, and follow up on Service Requests (SRs) with Oracle Support.Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, technical specs, and workflow diagrams.Required Skills & Experience :
8+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle EBS Technical Support & Development.Proficiency in PL / SQL, Oracle Forms & Reports.Mandatory : Functional knowledge and project / support experience in Oracle ASCP (Advanced Supply Chain Planning).Strong exposure to Oracle EBS modules : Order Management, Planning, Procurement, and Financials.Experience in Oracle APEX, Oracle SOA Suite, and custom workflow development.Familiarity with data migration tools and techniques, APIs, and concurrent programs.Sound understanding of performance tuning, indexing, and Oracle database optimization practices.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications :
Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Exposure to integration with third-party systems and cloud platforms is a plus.Oracle certifications (e.g., Oracle EBS R12 Technical Certified Expert) preferred.(ref : hirist.tech)
