About the Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Java / J2EE Backend Engineer to join our technology team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about building scalable, high performance and secure backend systems that power business critical applications. You will work closely with cross functional teams to design robust solutions, optimize performance and ensure smooth integration across systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain backend systems and microservices using Java / J2EE technologies
• Build and manage RESTful APIs for application and system integration
• Design and optimize database schemas to ensure efficient and secure data management
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability and reliability challenges
• Implement security best practices and protect backend systems from vulnerabilities
• Integrate with third party services and external APIs
• Ensure high code quality through unit and integration testing
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical mentorship
• Collaborate with internal teams to translate business needs into technical solutions
